The Max Hot Chocolate Melt

The ultimate hot chocolate experience
A curl of luxury ice cream floating in a Melt. Hot and cold, and packed full of delicious, creamy flavour – and almost unlimited combinations.
Hot chocolate and ice cream might not be the most obvious combination, but trust us, it works! We like to use Criterion Ices, as like Marimba chocolate it's top of its class and made in Bury St Edmunds. Adding a curl of ice cream gives you the sensation of drinking something simultaneously hot and cold, and as the ice cream settles into the hot chocolate it adds an extra level of creaminess and depth. There are so many combinations, but some of our favourite flavours of ice cream to include are: mint choc chip, brandy & orange, rum & raisin, double chocolate, salted caramel, stem ginger or caramel & hazelnut. Just scoop a nice curl of ice cream and gently float it on top of your Hot Chocolate Melt. Goodness!
We like to make this recipe with our 45% Cameroon milk hot chocolate.
