Users of this web site agree to the following terms and conditions. They do not affect your statutory rights under U.K. law.
If you have a complaint relating to an order placed this must be received within seven days of dispatch.

We aim to respond within one working day and resolve all complaints within three working days, either by replacing the chocolates or refunding your payment.
Mail order terms (do not apply to trade orders)
Please note we cannot guarantee the delivery date. In the UK we use a next day service, and two-day elsewhere.
Delivery prices and service
Orders will be dispatched using the APC courier service. Weekend deliveries are not available. We deliver only within the U.K.
- Channel Islands - £31.00 (sorry, but that is the APC courier price!)
- Highlands and Isle of Wight: 2-5 day service - £13.50
- Scottish Highlands mainland: 2-5 day service - £13.50
- Scottish offshore islands: 2-5 day service - £20.00
- Northern Ireland: 2-5 day service - £12.50
- Elsewhere in the U.K.: 1-5 day service - £4.50
Cancellation and returns
You can cancel your order and obtain a full refund at any time up to the item being despatched. Call or email with your order number.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may also cancel your order without reason, within seven working days of delivery. You must confirm this in writing and return the packaged item to us at the address given above. The item(s) must be returned to us unused and in as new condition. You will be liable for all postage costs incurred as a result of returning an item to us. We cannot issue a refund until we have received the goods. We recommend you obtain proof of posting when you return any goods to us. Please note this policy excludes perishable goods which are exempt from this legislation.
If the products we deliver are not as ordered, or are damaged, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, or if you do not receive the products ordered, we shall have no liability to you other than to: Make good any shortage; supply and deliver substitute products if your original choice cannot be delivered for any reason; replace any products that are damaged or defective; or refund to you the amount paid for the products in question.
In the rare event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we reserve the right to substitute any item for an alternative item of equal or higher value. We will make every effort to contact you first.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this web site.
In respect of orders placed on this web site we shall have no liability to pay compensation other than to refund the amount paid for the products originally ordered.

We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the web site or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the web site for any purpose. Pricing and refunds
The total price including VAT will be displayed at the checkout in Pounds Sterling. Our VAT registration number is 939 4998 45.
The payment phase is hosted by Barclaycard.
Items will not be despatched until payment is confirmed and received.
If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our web site we may at our discretion reject your order without liability to you and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to supply products to you at an incorrect (lower) price, if the pricing error could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.
Any refunds issued to you will be made using the payment method used in your original transaction. You must inform us of any changes to your card details.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not use your details to contact you regarding future promotions and offers unless you opt in to such marketing during the order process. Any email marketing we may send will include an unsubscribe option.

Marimba Loyalty Card Terms & Conditions
Marimba Loyalty Cards are available to anyone over the age of 16, on completion of an application form including email and postal address.
The Cards can be presented at either of our two Cocoa Houses, in Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The Cards can not be used for online purchases. Purchases are recorded on the Card, and such benefits as are current at the time will be offered at the time of purchase.
The benefits offered through the Cards may vary at any time or be withdrawn without notice.
Current benefits (from June 2022) are one free hot drink for every ten hot drinks purchased, plus one free tub of Handmade Giant Buttons for any twenty chocolate confectionary items purchased.
The Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and have no cash or transferrable value.
Marimba Gift Card Terms & Conditions
Marimba Gift Cards can be purchased from either of our two Cocoa Houses, in Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and the value on the Gift Cards can be spent in either. The Cards can not be used for online purchases.
Please treat Gift Cards like cash, as the value on the Card can not be reimbursed if lost or stolen. The minimum value that can be added to a Gift Card is £10, and the maximum £250.
The balance on a Gift Card will expire after 24 months from the date of last credit.
The Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and have no cash or transferrable value.
